There is no limit to the resistance which gives room for improvement at any level. If you think its fan wheel just provides resistance then you are wrong, it also keeps you cool since the fans provide a breeze.

Design: The weight capacity of Schwinn Airdyne 2 is 250 pounds which is 113.3 kg .

The seat is adjustable to match the height of the users, it is padded and cushioned to ensure comfort, it definitely does not provide the best comfort level but works fine.

Handlebars are moving handlebars so they move when the exerciser is pedaling to provide upper body workout as well.

Monitor: The monitor has an LCD display that shows all the basic data like distance, calories, time, speed, and RPM. It does not have training programs and also lacks heart rate monitoring which is two major setbacks for this Airdyne bike.

Product Features:

  • BioFit Comfort: Being air resistance it has fan wheels that also provide a cooling effect apart from resistance. It comes with a footrests peg, these footrests pegs help in working on the upper body part making it a full-body workout.
  • BioDyne Performance: There is no limit to the resistance level, it keeps on increasing with the speed of the user thus it provides an extremely challenging workout. As mentioned above it comes with moving handlebars, the handlebars and pedals create a movement that is similar to natural human body movement. Schwinn Airdyne AD2 is easily portable since it has wheels on its bottom for easy transportation.
  • BioConnect Feedback: LCD Display placed in between the handlebars shows data like RPM, distance, speed, time, and calories.

For a deeper understanding to know which one actually deserves to be the winner of this comparison let us understand what are the major positives and negatives of both the products for a better Schwinn Airdyne model comparison.

  • Full body workout
Because of its moving handlebars this not just provides lower body workout but also upper body workout another good thing is that the user can choose the area he wants to target, which means one can either select total body workout that indulges upper and lower body or can choose one separately.
  • Resistance levels
One major advantage of this machine is that it comes with unlimited resistance. One need not worry about the resistance levels since it can meet all challenge levels.
  • Easy transportation and storage
The body is very compact, and with the wheels on the bottom, it is very easy to transport the bike from one place to another.
  • Price
At a price like this Schwinn Airdyne AD2 can be considered as one of the Airdyne bikes in this range without any question.

  • Uncomfortable seat
Even though the seat is padded, the cushioning is not enough. The seat still remains quite uncomfortable which makes it a bit difficult to perform the exercise.
  • Console Placement
The Console is not strategically placed. The screen is placed a bit too low on which makes it difficult to read the data in it.
  • No heart rate Monitoring
If you were hoping it comes with a heart rate monitor, here is the sad news for you, Schwinn Airdyne AD2 is not capable of monitoring heart rate.

  • Monitor: Console which is an LCD screen shows all the required metrics.
  • Foot straps: The pedals come with foot straps to secure the foot to provide a better workout experience.

  • Comfortable
Schwinn probably understood that it requires major improvements in seat, so it came up with this Airdyne which has a large, extra padded well cushioned seat.
  • Weight Capacity

  • Dual Stage Belt Drive

  • LCD Screen
Console still seems to be a problem, the LCD is not backlit and is not very sharp and vibrant.
  • Costly
